Terms & Conditions & Liability Waiver

 

By purchasing or using a Love Pet Mala, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

 

 

1. Natural Materials & Individual Variations

 

Love Pet Malas are handmade using natural materials, including wood, gemstones, crystals, beads, and other natural elements. Because these materials are naturally occurring, no two pieces are exactly alike.

 

The following may naturally vary from one Mala to another:

 

• size and shape of individual beads
• overall length and circumference
• color and color intensity
• patterns and markings
• texture and surface finish
• weight
• natural inclusions, small fissures, variations, or irregularities
• the appearance and polish of individual stones or beads

 

The Mala you receive may therefore look different from the product photographs. Product photos are representative examples and cannot show every natural variation.

 

The size of each Mala may vary slightly because of natural variations in bead dimensions and handmade construction. The stated size should therefore be considered an approximate measurement rather than an exact measurement.

 

Natural materials also change and develop over time. Wood may darken, deepen in color, or develop a natural patina. Stones, beads, and other materials may also change in appearance through exposure to sunlight, moisture, water, skin oils, weather, and normal use.

 

These changes are natural characteristics of the materials and part of the individual character of each Mala; they are not considered defects.

 

2. Handmade Products

 

Each Love Pet Mala is individually handcrafted. Small variations and imperfections resulting from the handmade process and natural materials are part of the character of the product and are not considered defects.

 

3. Intended Use

 

Love Pet Malas are decorative accessories for pets. They are not functional collars, leashes, or restraint devices.

 

Never attach a leash, lead, tether, or other restraint to a Love Pet Mala.

 

The pet owner is responsible for determining whether the Mala is appropriate for their individual pet and for ensuring a proper and comfortable fit.

 

4. Durability & Breakage

 

Our Malas are handcrafted with care and designed to last, but they are not indestructible.

 

Pets may play roughly, chew, bite, pull, scratch, or squeeze through tight or narrow spaces. These or other circumstances may cause a Mala to stretch, become caught, or break.

 

The string and knot are designed to be elastic and resistant to normal water and weather exposure, but they have physical limits and may wear or break over time.

 

Love Pet Malas and Stephanie Wald are not responsible for breakage resulting from normal wear and tear, rough play, chewing, pulling, scratching, stretching, snagging, squeezing through tight spaces, improper use, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

 

5. Supervision & Safety

 

Pets should be appropriately supervised while wearing a Love Pet Mala. The owner is responsible for inspecting the Mala before use and removing it immediately if it becomes damaged, excessively stretched, or if the pet shows discomfort or distress.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Love Pet Malas, Willfly LLC, and Stephanie Wald are not responsible for injury, illness, death, distress, or other harm to an animal, or for property damage, arising directly or indirectly from the purchase, possession, wearing, or use of a Love Pet Mala.

 

6. Release & Waiver of Liability

 

By purchasing or using a Love Pet Mala, you hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Love Pet Malas, Willfly LLC, and Stephanie Wald from any and all responsibilities, liabilities, claims, demands, or lawsuits, present or future, known or unknown, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising directly or indirectly from the purchase, possession, wearing, or use of a Love Pet Mala, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

 

This release includes claims relating to breakage, improper use, animal injury or illness, property damage, or other loss associated with the product, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived or limited.

 

7. No Medical or Veterinary Claims

 

Love Pet Malas are not medical or veterinary products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, physical, or behavioral condition.

 

Any references to crystals, stones, energy, meditation, or other properties are provided for informational, traditional, spiritual, or aesthetic purposes only and do not replace professional veterinary care.

 

8. Warranty Disclaimer

 

Except where prohibited by law, Love Pet Malas are provided “as is” and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability and any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.

 

9. Acceptance

 

By purchasing or using a Love Pet Mala, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions, understand the inherent risks associated with the product, and voluntarily accept those risks and responsibilities.
